Fields Team Member

We are seeking a full-time field's person to work alongside our experienced field team and reporting to our Technical Director.

The position requires an enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable individual who adopts a 'hands on' approach, has competence in use of computer software, including word, excel and bespoke packages, for which training will be given. A eagerness to learn new skills is essential for this role - training and guidance will be given to the successful candidate.

The role involves travelling to our breeder farm base (approx.80-mile radius), taking on the responsibility of farm manager/staff relief work in the absence of the farm manager, movement of stock, disease monitoring, as well as offering technical input to the farm base.

Some weekend work will be required, covering the areas of Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. A company vehicle (Van) is provided.

The individual would be best suited being based in and around the Peterborough area (30-mile radius). It would be advantageous to have a poultry/agricultural background, however full training will be given. Full UK driving licence is required.

A condition of your employment is that you do not keep, nor have access to poultry in any setting.
