Currently, we're seeking an experienced warehouse manager to join our team and to oversee and be responsible for all our warehouse activities. This professional multitasker will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time.

Objectives of this Role

· Train and manage a small warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

· Getting the best out of a small team and instilling good time management

· Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.

· Key member of the HACCP team, implementing and maintaining BRC protocols and processes.

· Ensure robust and thorough H&S procedures are followed and adhered to.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

. Coordinating dispatch, receiving and storage of goods.

· Be willing, fit and able to work on the shop floor when needed.

. Stock Control

· Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service

· Cultivate a zero tolerance attitude to complaints and endeavouring to reduce to zero

· Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed

· Ensure warehouse cleanliness (internal and external areas), are maintained at all times

· 3+ years experience in a similar warehouse lead role

· Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy

· Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities

· Ability to work with all levels of company staff

· Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral instructions

· Current Forklift Licence

· Computer Literate, excel, Sage 50

· BRC & HACCP implementation,

  • Warehouse Management: 3 years (preferred)

  • Distribution Operations Occupations: 3 years (preferred)

  • Pay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
