Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Support Officer to join East Kent Colleges Group.

The successful candidate will be working in a small team of Executive Support Officers to provide high level support to the Executive team. This includes comprehensive diary management, ensuring time is structured and organised to meet the priorities of the Executive team, arranging internal and external meetings and minuting a series of committee meetings. You will be responsible for the preparation, collation and distribution of agendas and meeting papers for a range of Group committee meetings, attending as minute secretary, preparing comprehensive minutes in a timely manner. A degree of flexibility is required to attend meetings across our colleges within East Kent as and when required.

We are seeking to appoint an Executive Support Officer who is highly organised and has excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with senior members of the organisation and external stakeholders.

You will be

  • proficient in all Microsoft packages.

  • experienced in organising complex diaries and arranging multiple meetings

  • have excellent grammar and communication skills and

  • able to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

  • capable of minuting formal meetings and proactively taking forward actions through to conclusion

  • flexible and adaptable to work at any of the six colleges when required


  • It is desirable that you have Maths and English GCSE grade 4 or above along with 3 A-Levels or equivalent in a relevant qualification.
