Are you wanting to progress your career in childcare? Ashbourne Day Nurseries in Princes Risborough have a wonderful opportunity to join their established team and complete a level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship. You will plan and deliver high quality childcare, ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times. Free uniform and your birthday off!

Ashbourne Day Nurseries was established in 2008 by parents, for parents with our first nursery in Oxley Park, Milton Keynes. They are looking for a passionate, dedicated apprentice to join them to complete their Level 3 apprenticeship.

You will;

  • Promote our values and ethos to ensure a child-centred, safe and stimulating environment is provided whilst meeting the individual needs of every child.

  • Take part in the day to day operational aspects of the nursery in line with policies, safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, local authority guidance, health and safety and equal opportunities.

  • Work as part of a team, sharing daily responsibilities and workload.

  • Maintain and review the assessment of each child's progress within the role of the key person.

  • Provide exciting and educational experiences for children.

  • Ensure safeguarding procedures and nursery policies are followed at all times.

  • To be a proactive member of the nursery team.

  • Promote positivity and professionalism.

  • Attend training and meetings as required.

  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and kept up to date.

  • To advertise the nursery through events including open days and celebrations.

  • Build positive relationships with parents.

  • Ensure health and safety at all times.

  • Maintain high-quality equipment.

  • Manage the cleanliness and hygiene of the setting in order to maintain the nursery appearance.

  • Work alongside the kitchen to ensure EHO standards are kept to a high level.

    Competitive salary - from £6.40 - 11.45 per hour dependant on age and experience
