Full Job Description
Your responsibilities will be varied and far reaching including;
- Achieving and maintaining the highest standards of care
- Leading and managing the staff team effectively
- To understand and work to preschool nursery policies and procedures, including how to
- Develop and maintain our excellent partnerships with parents and other stakeholders.
- Building relationships with staff and children and supporting development
- To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors,
- To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that
- To plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early learning goals and
- To be a key person.
- To ensure records are properly maintained
This role is a level 5 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship. If you have achieved a level 3 and have 2 years experience post qualification, then this is the ideal opportunity to go the extra mile for your personal and professional development., Minimum 2 years post qualification experience - Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Extensive knowledge and experience of delivering OFSTED standards
- Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities
- Passion for delivering outstanding childcare and learning
- Lots of energy and a positive 'can do' attitude, At least NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent minimum. BA(Hons) or EYP an advantage
