Early Years Assistant (Early Years Educator qualified)

The role will require you to work as a key person and member of a class team delivering the EYFS, in the classroom and our magical outdoor learning environment. You will be working with children aged between 2 and 4 years old, some of whom have additional needs. Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for the roles.

You MUST hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent that allows you to work in an Early Years Setting. Please send a copy of your Certificate confirming your relevant Childcare Qualification when submitting your application.

Fluency Duty: In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

Early Years Assistants (Early Years Educator qualified) (Grade 4 SCP 3-5) permanent

32.5 hours or 35 hours (5 days per week)

Early Years Assistant Salary £22,737 - £23,500 pro-rata.

Term Time Only plus 5 Inset Days: 39 weeks 195 days. Monday to Friday.

Working hours for 32.5 hours per week are 8:50am to 4:05pm (promptly in the classroom)

Working hours for 35 hours per week are alternate weeks of 7:50am to 4:05pm (to cover breakfast club) and 8:50am to 4:05pm (promptly in the classroom)

Early Years Assistant Actual salary for 32.5 hours £17,102 - £17,676

Early Years Assistant Actual salary for 35 hours £18,417 - £19,036
