Job Title: Customer Support EngineerLocation: Home Based/ Various locations North England / Midlands Are you able to Install, repair and maintain our complex Market leading instrumentation across the UK? Then this might be your chance to become a part of our UK Customer Support team!In this role you will be responsible for travelling to customer sites installing, repairing and maintaining our manufactured instruments across the UK, ensuring the customer satisfaction is at a high level.
What are your responsibilities?Provide onsite and remote support across the UK which includes on-site installation, validations, preventative maintenance and system repairs.
Use your logical problem-solving skills to solve complex problems.
Train our customer to use our instruments in a safe and effective manner.
Communicate with all parts of the business to ensure customer satisfaction, maintains our Net Promoter Score.
Grow knowledge and experience on a variety of equipment through your career.

Provide timely and accurate reports (Service reports, Validation reports, expenses etc)What do you need to be successful in this role?You need to be able to grow your knowledge, using practical skillsQualifications in Electronics, Chemistry to HND or equivalent levelA strong team player, Self-motivated with good communication and organisational skills, who can work independently at customer sitesDemonstrable experience of working on customer sites.
A passion and drive to provide the highest level of customer satisfactionA flexible and reliable attitudeCommercially astute.
Driving licenceAnalytical trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
Great to have?Experience of working with X-Ray based scientific instrumentation is an advantage.
Well Developed problem solving and troubleshooting skillsWork will with all types of people, from Professors to Directors and Support staff and Colleagues.
