Full Job Description

The client is a leading fresh produce business dedicated to growing high-quality crops for distribution to retailers across the UK. Due to growth and demand they are looking for a skilled and experienced Crop Manager to join the team., Our client is currently seeking a talented Crop Manager to oversee crop production operations. The successful candidate will manage full Cultivation, Planting and Harvest of the crop ensuring optimal quality, yield, and efficiency are maintained.

The Crop Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring all growing activities from seed to harvest. This includes developing and executing crop production plans aligned with business goals and market demand. Additionally, they will monitor and maintain crop health, including pest and disease management, irrigation, and fertility programs.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in crop production, with a focus on fresh produce or root crops. They should possess strong knowledge of growing techniques, crop management, and agronomy principles. Someone who is BASIS qualified is desirable but not essential. The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is important, and relevant qualifications in agriculture is required., Do you have a valid UK driving licence? required
