Course Designer

I am looking for a Training Course Designer / Technical Author who will be responsible for the production and delivery of DSAT and / or ADDIE training courseware.

This is a hybrid role (one day per week in the office with midday finish on Fridays) with regular visits to various UK military establishments to conduct technical inspections for training material design.

Established in 1991, this highly respected business has grown from a traditional Technical Publications provider to become one of the UK's leading providers of Product Support Services to Commercial and Defence companies around the World.

Due to the company's continued success and growth, they are looking to recruit a Training Course Designer / Technical Author to design and deliver technical training courses.

The Training Course Designer is responsible for the production of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) complaint training courseware.

As a course designer, you'll need a qualification in DSAT training design and / or ADDIE and DSAT / Military training and delivery experience.

The successful Training Course Designer will be working closely with internal and external teams to develop the training content, to the needs of my client.

What will you be doing

· Undertake tasks associated with the production of DSAT training

· Design and delivery of technical training courses

· Work to explore any potential training requirement leads

· Carry out independent quality checks on other team members' work

You will ideally be doing the role already or possess the necessary qualities to be trained in the role.

· Hold a qualification in DSAT training design

· Level 3 award in Education and Training (previously PTLLS)

· DSAT or Military training design and delivery experience

· The ability to recognise and develop further opportunities for the company

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4 Friday 8 to 12 (36 hours per week).
