  • To support accurate analysis and provision of comprehensive information to generate meaningful insights that inform corporate development decision making e.g. strategic, public affairs, policy, responsible business decision-making.

    Responsibilities:
  • The role is part of a resource pool, tasked with supporting Strategic Development, Corporate Affairs, Policy, Purpose, Responsible Business and Corporate, Planning Analysis and Reporting through the application of analytics and research:

  • Support preparation and execution of research projects across the CSD function

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to gather internal capability data and external market intelligence.

  • Organise and interpret data themes (using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques), driving real insights to support decision-making.

  • Utilise analytical skills to identify, assess, and evaluate risks across various domains, providing insights and recommendations to mitigate potential impacts.

  • Prepare output that is excellently written and conveys results in a compelling way, supporting the production of high-quality reports.

  • Support production of corporate reporting

  • Maintain and develop relevant functional processes and accountability frameworks

  • Keep abreast of analytics and research methodologies, and best practices through ongoing learning and professional development activities to enhance expertise and effectiveness in role.

    An inquisitive, analytical mindset

  • Experience of producing documents, reports, board papers and presentations for stakeholders at all levels

  • Skilled in analysis and extracting key themes; conveying complex matters simply

  • Ability to take a commercial approach to understand the impact on the business and the customer

  • Self-motivated, uses initiative, dynamic, pragmatic and resilient

  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, able to engage at all levels of the organisation

  • Organised, manages own time, prioritises workload and manages conflicting priorities

  • Flexible approach and comfortable with ambiguity
