Full Job Description

Our Corporate & Multinational Tax team are looking for a Corporate Account Manager to join their growing team and facilitate the continued growth of the corporate and international tax practice. You will seek out opportunities to develop and grow the portfolio of business, establish strong relationships with clients and across the firm and drive best practice across our key client accounts.

The team helps clients to navigate the increasingly complex tax landscape by providing tailored solutions to manage risks today and stay ahead of future changes. The team works to provide domestic and global advice for strategic decisions to ensure that tax obligations are monitored and managed.

The role of Corporate Account Manager presents solutions to the business and key clients. You'll have outstanding interpersonal skills to be able to proactively assist clients and our team in responding to a rapidly changing sector.

A look into the role

As a Corporate Account Manager within our Corporate & Multinational Tax team, you will:

  • Mapping out key account programmes that align with the tax business' growth strategy

  • Reviewing ROI at all stages of client interaction and embedding yourself within the tax delivery teams

  • Coordinate with our Grant Thornton International colleagues and ensuring that a joined-up approach to client interactions is adopted

  • Attend client proposal meetings, taking responsibility for preparing briefing packs, agendas and acting as the primary point of contact for the client

  • Coordinating follow-ups across multiple workstreams and ensuring that agreed actions are addressed and that the client receives feedback where appropriate

    Joining us as a Corporate Account Manager, the minimum criteria you'll need is practical work experience within professional services, either in a key account role or a business development and capacity . It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.

  • Experience of working in a tax team, either operationally or from a support perspective, is highly desirable

  • Ability to speak credibly with clients about their business objectives and key account issues

  • Demonstrable experience of establishing corporate account processes and effective roll out to stakeholders
