Contracts Manager

A Contract Manager vacancy has arisen in the Adult Care Community and Voluntary Sector Contracts team for an experienced Contract Manager.
The post holder will:
+ Manage a portfolio of contracts delivering a range of services to local communities provided by organisations in the community and commercial sectors.
+ Undertake contract quality and performance monitoring in conjunction with the team using a risk-based approach and will also be required to develop and undertake market shaping activities to meet required Care Act responsibilities.
+ Lead and provide guidance on procurement options, have experience in producing high quality tender documentation and a familiarity with the procurement legislation and Council Standing Orders.
We are looking for a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
An understanding of Adult Social Care as well as the ability to work well with a range of internal and external stakeholders and other agencies is required.
Derbyshire is a wonderful place to live, visit and work. We use a system of hybrid working including home and other bases. When required the post will be based at County Hall at Matlock. Travel across the county will be required.
