What you'll do

This role will deliver end to end engaging training to our brand ambassadors that not only meets the regulatory and internal governing requirements, but that also inspires individuals in their role as they can connect how their actions align with our corporate values and duty.

This role will design and own the learning pathways of the regulated consumer facing roles within our market, as well as support activities in the wider learning and development efforts.

The goal is that our people will know what is expected of them and equipped with the necessary training to deliver.

Your key deliverables will include:

  • Responsible for training the regulated competencies required throughout the consumer journey, some examples include, Financial Product Training, Special Automotive Finance, Consumer Duty and Communication skills

  • Develop and deliver training using a variety of current tools and channels, across the employee lifecycle

  • Liaise with other VCUK departments to fully support any new initiatives such systems, processes or procedures

  • Ensure training content reflects current VCUK policies, procedures and duties

  • Ensure the VCUK training offer is relevant and appropriate to the business and target audience both on and offline

  • Ensure regulated competency remains to the correct standard, through monitoring, delivering and reporting

  • Continually evaluates the effectiveness of the deliverables and recommend improvements

  • Achieve engagement and behavioural changes, targeting together with evidence of ROI measures.

  • Monthly competency status reports

  • Develops and maintains good relationships

  • Pragmatic Balance of stakeholder needs

  • Continuously monitor and review the training strategy towards ensuring competence required to fulfil regulated requirements

  • Assist in other training delivery

  • Make recommendation for change and transformation.

  • Continuous review of processing efficiency and control effectiveness, ensuring maximum efficiencies are delivered within an effective minimum control framework.

  • Continually evaluates the effectiveness of the deliverables and seeks to improve.

    Previous experience working in an FCA regulated company

  • Passionate about advancing learning experiences that facilitate the acquisition of knowledge

  • Strong interpersonal skills to appropriately engage with all levels of business and ranges of functions

  • Ability to balance and manage various stakeholder needs, where in some cases may be conflicting

  • Structured yet agile approach to workload and planning

  • Ability to use data to provide insight and create meaningful action

  • Previous experience of delivering against competency frameworks and conducting TNA

  • Training, PX or other relevant qualification for experience

  • Prior experience in creating Management Information packs

  • ROI creation and calculation

  • SCORM creation
