Compliance Officer

This role will provide crucial support to the General Manager and Transport Manager in overseeing and enhancing driver compliance across the fleet, mainly Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV). This role focusses on ensuring adherence to relevant regulations relating to the Company's Operating Licence and codes of industry good practice across all activities undertaken., Conduct internal audits to assess compliance risks

- Undertake direct responsibility for scheduling all planned and unplanned maintenance to all physical assets and to liaise with operational leads to ensure all physical assets are presented in a timely manner for service and repair

- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures

- Maintain documentation of compliance activities such as the company's accreditation to FORS, FIAS and any other customer related compliance requirements

- Monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes accordingly

- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to appropriate authorities

- Collaborate with the management team to address compliance issues

- Investigate and resolve compliance concerns or violations

We are recruiting for a Compliance Officer to join our great team. The ideal candidate will be professional and reliable, with excellent communication skills in order to provide a high level of service to our internal and external customers. There is a requirement to work flexibly with the business needs and every other Saturday., Previous HGV driving experience, current HGV Class 1 Licence

- Maintain Drivers CPC hours

- Maintain or gain Transport Manager CPC

- Experience with FIAS and or FORS is an advantage

- Proven experience in compliance

- Strong understanding of traffic regulatory requirements and reporting

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Certification in Compliance (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) is an advantage
