Full Job Description
The role will report to the business COO in Camberley with a dotted line the Group CFO in London.,
- Prepare timely monthly consolidation reports and financial statements
- Perform variance analysis and provide financial reporting
- Coordinate budgeting based on our P&L and sales projections
- Maintain a full year forecast against budget, including working closely with Project Managers to monitor services revenues on a weekly basis
- Maintain a rolling 12-month cash flow forecast
- Prepare annual audit file and statutory accounts
- Liaise with the group auditors
- VAT returns
- Prepare corporation tax calculations and ensure instalments are paid as required
- General journal entries
- Supervise and support the Business Administrator to fulfil their responsibilities:
- General bookkeeping
- Accounts payable
- Bank reconciliations
- Invoicing
- Credit control
- Benefits & holiday
- HR administration
- Payroll processing
- Utilisation reporting
- 5 years of accounting work experience
- ACA , CIMA , ACCA , CA (or equivalent) qualified
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with all levels of a global business
- Advanced Excel skills would be highly beneficial
- Solid skills with accounting software (experience with Sage X3 useful but not mandatory)
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Can work in a team environment and independently
- Strong organization along with time management skills
Support the sales team with information required for sales proposals, and ensure a formal handover is completed for new customers to ensure correct invoicing
Ensure all employees receive relevant statutory payroll documents (P45, P60, P11D) and all pension regulations are complied with
Manage the vehicle salary sacrifice and cycle to work schemes
Ensure compliance with all government and tax authorities
Provide financial analysis on an ad-hoc basis
We have an opportunity for a commercial accountant to join a high growth software company based in Camberley. This would be the perfect role for someone with at least two years' PQE, who is interested in a role with an equal mix of technical and business partnering exposure.
We are looking for a hands-on, highly capable individual who will take on ownership of all aspects of accounting for the company and work in close partnership with colleagues in the group finance function.,
