RPS Design Division delivers projects across multiple, niche sectors from residential housing developments, logistics, retail, aviation, healthcare, education, advanced manufacturing, data centres, energy and more as we strive to achieve the right balance between form and function when faced with competing priorities around sustainability, materiality, cost and constructability. Digitalisation is at the core of our delivery model allowing our clients and their stakeholders to really experience our designs right from project concept stage and through drawing on expertise spanning decades, industries and disciplines, we assist clients to harmonise design drivers through inspired engineering, architecture and development services.

What you'll be doing:

This is an exciting role for an individual looking to progress their career as a Technician within our industry leading team where we have an excellent reputation, offering a wealth of expertise in all sectors of the built environment.

Duties Include:

  • Be involved with a range of projects including wind farms, sustainable energy, commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure where you will produce, and assist in Civil and Structural Engineering design modelling and drawing in accordance with the project requirements

  • Supporting the Principal / Associate in the technical delivery of projects

  • Conducting activities and producing outputs in line with relevant legislation and industry standards

  • Completing designs based on guidance from Line Manager, applying sound technical knowledge relevant to the role

  • Civil and Structural Engineering design modelling and drawing

  • Team document control and distribution

    To be successful for this role you will likely have 2 years plus relevant Post-Graduate experience.


  • Additionally, you will:

  • Be experienced in using Microsoft Office Software

  • Be proficient in the use of technical software relevant to the design discipline

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Have great organisational skills to manage own deadlines and competing priorities

  • Must have a driving license as travel may be required

  • Be motivated with initiative and comfortable with autonomy with an appetite to drive innovation

  • Must be a team player
