Full Job Description

At Aspens we work across Kent and Sussex; supporting individuals with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and
physical disabilities across residential care homes, supported living homes, day services and our fantastic outreach and children
and young people's programmes.

We ae currently searching for a Service Manager to provide strong leadership to our dedicated, passionate and ever-expanding
Children and Young People's Services team in West Sussex.

In your role as Service Manager, you will work to ensure that your service meets the requirements of Aspens Charities quality
standards as well as legislator regulations (a required by Ofsted and CQC). Your main focus will be to guarantee a high-quality
service, focussed on the express needs and requests of the children and young people we support.

A key component of your role will also be to raise awareness of Autism Spectrums Conditions and tackle the barriers and stigma
faced by children and young people with ASC.

PLEASE NOTE: It is a condition of your employment with Aspens Charities that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and that

  • Have previous experience working with vulnerable children and young people, ideally those with autism spectrum conditions.

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

  • Be an experienced team leader with good planning skills and the ability to make effective decisions.

  • Have a good understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures as well as knowledge of child protection issues,

  • safeguarding and professional boundaries
  • Due to the necessity of travel within this role you must have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle., Disability Confident
