Full Job Description

We are currently looking for passionate and resilient Residential Support Workers, who share our ambition and values, to provide high quality day-to-day care to our children and young people. As a member of Raise House, you will have the skills and understanding to build constructive relationships and engage with each child and young person, supporting them in daily routines and activities, and taking responsibility as a key worker. You will enjoy working as part of a dedicated team, be pro-active and consistent in your approach to safeguarding, and act as a positive role model.

To be successful you must have experience of working in children's residential care, youth work or a related field, with the drive and enthusiasm to inspire and make a real difference to the lives of young people, and a commitment to the highest standards of professional practice.

You must be willing and able to work on a rota basis, including some weekends, bank holidays and waking nights., All Residential Support Workers should have Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent, or be willing to study towards gaining this qualification.,

  • If you haven't already achieved the qualification, are you willing to undertake a Level 3 in Residential Childcare?

  • Do you have direct experience of working with young people with EBD?


  • Experience:
  • Supporting young people: 2 years (required)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred)
