Manage all the bookings, registers and be in charge of the day to day of the Club.

Help with opening and closing the club by arranging toys and games into activity areas and helping out with the packing away at the end of the day.

Collaborate with the team to come up with a range of creative activities to deliver to the children each week.

Pro-actively encourage children to participate in games, teamwork and stay both engaged and growing from learning opportunities.

Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of 'snack time' whilst keeping in mind dietary and allergy requirements.

Build strong relationships with both the children, parents and your team to ensure seamless cooperation, an honest environment that grows on respect and fun.

Have an awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary)

Communication skills that allow you to effectively communicate with children, parents and your team alike.

Show professionalism by being reliable whilst able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 11 years old.

Essential to have DBS (provided by us) and reference checks within Good Childcare Practices, according to Ofsted and KCSIE2022 Statutory Guidance., Bachelor's (required)

Level 4 or above in Chilcare,Education or Playwork? (required)

The After School Kids Club Ltd has been running successfully for the last 16years, providing wrap-around childcare for the Ottershaw community. Fully Ofsted registered, we are passionate about supporting our community and pushing our mission of offering both parents and children cost-effective out-of-school childcare solutions in the form of creative activities and enjoyable playwork.

£13 - £15 an hour - Permanent, Part-time, Ottershaw School Term - time only (so you get to enjoy your holidays too!)

If you have a child at school age at Ottershaw School, you can bring them to enjoy our Club for free!

Full training and inductions will be provided to successful candidate, Mondays to Fridays - School Term only
