Full Job Description

A child contact centre offers a welcoming space for children to nurture or re-establish contact with a parent or their significant others. The children we work with may be living with a parent, an extended family member or foster carers. Our Contact Centres provide families with the opportunity to spend quality time with their parent and/or relatives a safe, neutral space

The ideal candidate would need to demonstrate that they are highly organised and can undertake work accurately and independently. The candidate will be highly IT proficient, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated packages as this is predominately an administrative role and includes working closely with our team of child contact supervisors in the area.

This is a home based position, 15 hours a week to support the child contact centre manager for our Hassocks and Haywards Heath Child Contact Centres in West Sussex with her day-to-day duties and deputise for her when she is on leave.

Applicants must have access to a suitable home workspace, without interruptions during their working day as they willbemaking and answering phone and video calls.

The deputy manager would need to travel to attend meetings with colleagues and managers, as well as go to our centres in Hassocks and Haywards Heath as required, so must live within a one hour drive of both centres.

We require someone able to manage their time effectively, have excellent written and numeracy skills , management experience with ideally a background working with families and children.

Applicants must be confident and robust as this role includes daily liaison with social workers, solicitors and families, often at challenging time in their lives.

The specific tasks undertaken will be directed by your manager, to meet the needs at that time, but may include:

· Sending out AGFS referral forms and costings

· Invoicing private law clients

· Staff allocation

· Coordination of service delivery

· Managing the Contact Centre Diary and ensuring it is kept updated.

· Meeting the Day-to-Day administration needs of the Centre.

· Liaising with parent and contact supervisors to set up contacts.

· Sending out parental agreements

· Rearranging Contact Sessions when required.

· Updating centre diaries and ensuring all contact session are allocated to a contact supervisor.

· Raising new invoices for amended contact sessions.

· Providing day to day support with administrative tasks to Centre Manager.

· Supporting the team of Child Contact Supervisors, as directed by the centre manager.

· Organising staff social events

· Compiling statistics

· Marketing

AG Family Support offers child contact supervision and family support across the South East of England and East Anglia.

£15 per hour

Hours: 15 hours a week- Monday to Friday 3 hrs a day, times to be agreed but must be same each day and within core office hours of 9-5pm.

Candidates must be willing to work very occasional additional hours when needed at peak times. An Enhanced DBS is essential for this role if successful, also applicants must be car owners.
