Carer / Personal Assistant (Direct Payments)

To support a 12-year-old boy with ASD and ADHD
- Taking him out in the community to help him enjoy activities such as swimming as he enjoys being in the water. He also likes games and going to arcade in Hi-Tied Porthcawl or Trecco bay
- Taking him for food Mc Donald's or KFC
- Keeping him company at home and show interest in his activities within the home, such as computer games

To have a calm nature and able to stay in control of all situations.
- Flexible, trusting and consistency is important to support this young boy and his abilities.
- Be able to communicate, engage and support during frustrating times.
- Someone who will make him feel safe, have a good sense of humour
- Become a friend and engage in conversations
- Able to use own initiative and self-motivated
- Able to maintain confidentiality and be aware of privacy.

5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro rata).
Sick pay at SSP rate if earning £120.00 or more per week.
Training provided to support you in your role.
