  • An enthusiastic, committed, caring, team player?

  • Able to work unsociable hours, including nights, evenings, and weekends?

  • Looking for a regular shift pattern, as adults with learning disabilities often need continuity?

  • Able to support amazing adults to reach their goals and be the best that they can be?

  • Ready to support adults with learning disability to live as independently as possible?

  • Ready to work in their home, the community, when enjoying leisure activities or at work?

  • Prepared to work by yourself, with one or two adults with learning disabilities?

  • Able to value our person-centred team approach to supported living and develop a variety of communication methods to make sure the adults with learning disabilities receive a consistent experience?

  • Interested in opportunities to join our Breaks Away Respite Services trips and holidays?

CAM Supported Living grew out of Breaks Away Respite Services.

  • Breaks Away Respite Services was established in 2016, to support adults with disabilities to have the same choices as everyone else. We provide an opportunity for both individuals and groups of friends to holiday and enjoy days/weekends out together having fun, learning, socialising, and the opportunity to enjoy new experiences, whilst our staff provide a safe and enabling environment.

At CAM Supported Living we provide 24 hour Supported Living for two young women with learning disabilities in a home owned by the family, and have done so since December 2020. We also provide Supported Living to other adults with learning disabilities who live in their own annex/flat at their parents' homes, and we have grown to support many other adults with learning disabilities to access work and volunteering opportunities in the community.
After three successful years, we are looking at expanding our CAM Supported Living service with a welcoming, stable staff team.
Every day is different, and you will have the opportunity to get involved in fun activities, making a real difference to the lives of the adults we work with.
