Full Job Description

To provide a comprehensive and confidential administrative support service to the Partners and Senior Leadership Team in the efficient and effective running of Boroughbury Medical Centre

What will you be doing?

· Provide confidential administrative support, including diary and meeting management for the partners and senior leadership team.

· Managing meetings - setting up rooms, creating agendas, taking minutes, writing and following up on action plans.

· To assist with the analysis of information or data for example able to use a basic spreadsheet

· Conduct searches to find required information using sources such as the internet and the practice's clinical system

· Co-ordinate Complaints and Significant Events processes in line with agreed procedures.

· To ensure all external IT systems and hardware are maintained and to act as a point of contact internally and externally

· To work closely with and support functional areas within BMC.

· Actively driving a culture of best practice and work with colleagues to ensure change is implemented quickly and effectively.

· Maintain a safe working environment

· Manage and prioritise own work load

· Has a responsibility to participate in regular performance reviews in line with department developmental plans, In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed above, the post-holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time

· Previous experience in a business support role, Administrator or Secretarial role

· Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both verbally and written

· Highly organised and self-motivated with a can-do attitude

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Experience within a fast paced environment

· Ability to maintain good relationships with all stakeholders

· A good knowledge of Microsoft outlook , word, excel and power point

· A strong team player who is self-motivated and flexible

· Is able to multi-task and remain focussed under pressure
