Assistant Store Manager - M&S Watford

We are looking for a motivated, friendly, and organized individual to join our team as the Assistant Store Manager in our busy practice. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Optical and Hearing Practice whilst delivering industry leading patient care. You will assist the Store Manager in the daily running of a successful optical practice. You will be responsible for the following:

Leadership and Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of optometrists, hearing aid audiologists and optical assistants to ensure the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.
Customer Journey: Ensure an exceptional customer journey by maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere, addressing patient inquiries and concerns, and ensuring timely and accurate service.
Financial Management: Pulling the right levers to drive your store's KPIs, ensuring the store is profitable.
Business Development: Driving brand awareness through in-store marketing activity. Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business strategies aimed at expanding the practice's patient base and market presence.

Proven experience in an optical role, preferably as a supervisor or team leader.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Solid understanding of practice operations, industry regulations, and business development.
Professional demeanour and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
