Hours: Tuesday - Friday 12:30 to 23:30

  • Key responsibilities:
  • To be health and safety conscious and promote safe working attitude.

  • To coach and familiarise new joiners to the department after initial training to the required standard.

  • To react positively to last minute changes.

  • To liaise with Ramp Trainers on individual needs/training requirements.

  • Co-ordinate Ramp operation in order to contribute successfully to DHL operations.

  • Prioritise workload of self and others.

  • Support DHL core operations, as required

  • Contribute to On Time Performance of the DHL Network.

  • Understanding of equipment that is used in operation.

  • Completion of Band 1 to 2 training, as required.

  • To facilitate EOS meetings when required

  • Provide support and cover for supervisor.

  • All employees are responsible for the health and safety of themselves and also those affected by their activities.


  • You'll bring to this role:
  • Sound knowledge of DHL Ramp operations.

  • Any offer of employment will be subject to you undergoing a CTC (Counter Terrorism Check).

  • Able to communicate at all levels.

  • A good understanding of aircraft handling procedures (GAPS and Global SOP).(training will be provided)

  • Ability to lead staff to ensure optimal working atmosphere and employee engagement.

  • Ability to coach trainees of all levels and adjust to individual needs.

  • Calm methodical approach.

  • Highly self-motivated and able to motivate others.

  • Interacting with people and good team work.

  • Computer literate.

  • Must meet criteria for issue of an Airside Pass and must hold a full driving licence (B1)

  • DHL Operational Network knowledge 2 years preferred

  • Have a knowledge of EOS and its importance to the business and CIS/CIM

  • A safety first attitude. You must conduct yourself in an orderly manner within the workplace, ensuring that correct uniform and PPE is worn when required.
