Full Job Description
Responsible for book keeping and accounts tasks for the company, as well as other administrative duties supporting the general office., · Assist with credit control
· Processing manual sales ledger invoices/credits
· Processing purchase ledger invoices/credits
· Processing Bacs Runs for payments and uploading to bank system
· Cash allocation
· Invoice/credit offsetting
· Taking payments from customers over the telephone
· Bank reconciliation
· Dealing with customer/internal queries
· Reconciling invoices raised and receipts receiving and including identifying any errors
· Provide assistance to the monthly management accounts process
· Processing copy invoice/credit requests
· Any other ad hoc work
· Previous experience of working within a finance department
· AAT qualified
· A good understanding of accounting software
· A strong understanding of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
· Excellent organisation skills
· Ambitious with keen interest to progress within the department
· Methodical
· Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
· Able to work as part of a larger team
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to manage deadlines
· Ability to prioritise and manage own workload and others
· Flexible and prepared to respond to requests at short notice
· Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm and confident
